Welcome to this blog, which supports the Return To Twin Peaks Twitter feed. The feed has been running for just over a year and forms an imaginary miniseries – a sequel to the original series, set 22 years after the events that culminated in Agent Cooper regaining consciousness before breaking a mirror with his head. Just as time has no meaning in The Black Lodge, so the story has been intermittently posted to the TwitterSphere. The end of Part One is only now being reached.
It was released that way mainly due to a perceived lack of interest and an infrequent desire to inflict my fanboy doodlings on David Lynch and Mark Frost’s legacy. Return To Twin Peaks could well have stagnated, but with the mindboggling announcement that Lynch and Frost are creating their own follow up, I decided it was time to get the tale finished in good time for the proper comeback. The main purpose of the blog is to gather the narrative in an easily-digestible way, for those who don’t want to keep scrolling down the feed.
